Matthijs Danes is currently serving as an Adviseur Organisatie, Leiderschap & Teamontwikkeling at Alliander since May 2024, where responsibilities include ensuring reliable energy supply for sustainable futures. Previously, Matthijs held various positions at Alliander from July 2016 to April 2022, including Product Owner for team INPAI and Lead Analytics Consultant. Matthijs gained extensive experience as a Senior Data Scientist and Project Leader for INCAS at Alterra Wageningen UR from October 2008 to June 2016, focusing on the transition from traditional agriculture to greenhouse horticulture. Earlier roles include Directie trainee, Trainee GIS en Remote Sensing, and an advisor role in information management at Witteveen+Bos. Matthijs holds multiple degrees, including MSc in Geo-Information Science and International Land and Water Management from Wageningen University & Research, as well as a BSc in Land- en Watermanagement from Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences.
