Chris Cockburn has extensive experience in engineering and management across multiple sectors, including food processing and military service. Currently serving as Engineering Group Manager at Alliance Group Limited since October 2017, Chris has held various managerial roles focused on maintenance and reliability. Prior to this, Chris worked as Plant Engineering Manager at Silver Fern Farms Ltd and Operations Manager at Heartland Potato Chips Ltd, where responsibilities included overseeing large teams and ensuring operational efficiency. Chris began a career in the Royal New Zealand Navy as a Weapons and Electronics Engineer, serving for over ten years. Educational qualifications include a Business Administration degree from the Institute of Management New Zealand and technical training in Electronics and Systems Technology from the Royal New Zealand Navy.
