Jaydeep Bhadra is a doctoral researcher at Loughborough University since October 2020, focusing on evaluating active and passive cooling bed systems for thermal comfort and sleep quality. In addition to the doctoral research role, Jaydeep serves as a Sub-warden, Chair of the DR Experience Board, Vice President of Doctoral Researchers, and Doctoral Researcher Representative on the BERG. Jaydeep has also been a Strategic Advisor for Solar Decathlon India since December 2021, offering key strategic insights. In the role of Specialist at the Alliance for an Energy Efficient Economy since July 2019, Jaydeep contributes to the development of the Solar Decathlon India program. Previous positions include Associate at PwC India, where responsibilities centered on energy efficiency and policy advisory, and various research and teaching roles in energy performance and architecture, starting with senior architect experience at Larsen & Toubro. Jaydeep holds a Master’s Degree in Building Energy Performance from CEPT University and a Bachelor of Technology in Architectural Engineering from SRM IST Chennai.
