Donald joined AHMM in 2019 after working in noteworthy practices in New York and London where he designed and built projects with significant cultural and commercial profiles. He focuses on developing design to respond to real-world inputs and has a speciality in complex urban projects. Having worked both in design practices and as part of development organisations, he works closely with clients to establish their goals and achieve them ambitiously. In his early career, he was a core member of the design team for the World Trade Center Memorial in Lower Manhattan and subsequently worked on design-build cultural projects, including a large-scale installation at Lincoln Center. He was also part of the design team for Hudson Yards, where he worked on a number of aspects including the commercial towers, infrastructure platform and rail facility, public landscape and the large-scale artwork, Vessel. Since joining AHMM, Don has worked on a mixed-use scheme in Canada Water for British Land. He was promoted to Associate in 2022.
