Vasif Ahamed is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in product development and design. Currently employed at Allegion since February 2023, Vasif previously held the position of Senior Engineer - Technology at ELGI Equipments Limited from May 2022 to February 2023 and worked as an Assistant Engineer at Texmo Industries from October 2019 to May 2022. Key responsibilities include managing new product development, translating customer requirements into product specifications using Quality Function Deployment (QFD), conducting competitor analysis, and designing parts for various manufacturing processes. Vasif's expertise encompasses the use of six sigma tools, creating 3D models and 2D drawings, and maintaining quality and cost parameters throughout the design process. Prior to these roles, Vasif completed an internship at Titan Engineering & Automation Limited, focusing on project proposals and costing.
