Philip Cynar is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in media and public relations. Currently serving as Senior Director of Media and Public Relations at the Allegheny Conference on Community Development since October 2007, Philip has previously held roles such as Communications and Corporate Responsibility Specialist at Pennsylvania American Water and Marketing and Public Relations Specialist at the Society for Protective Coatings. Additional experience includes leadership in communications at the American Lung Association of South Alleghenies and editorial production coordination at the American Symphony Orchestra League. Philip holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism/Creative Writing from the University of Pittsburgh and further education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
