Bill Flanagan is an accomplished media professional and community leader with extensive experience in journalism and corporate relations. Currently serving as Special Advisor to the Allegheny Conference on Community Development since September 2001, Bill produces the weekly business public affairs program "Our Region's Business" on WPXI-TV and oversees various investor relations activities as Chief Corporate Relations Officer. Notable board memberships include Rivers of Steel and Leadership Pittsburgh, Inc., along with a tenure as President of the Pittsburgh G-20 Partnership. Bill has held significant roles in regional initiatives such as Executive Director of Pittsburgh 250, which celebrated the city's 250th anniversary. With a strong background in broadcast journalism that began in the late 1970s, Bill holds multiple degrees in communication and journalism from Northwestern University and the University of Missouri-Columbia.
