Charleen Duncan currently serves as the Head of Programmes at Allan Gray Orbis Foundation since August 2021, following a distinguished role as Director of the UWC Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of the Western Cape from April 2013 to July 2021. Charleen has a history of leadership and strategic roles, including Former Chairperson of the Community Chest of the Western Cape and Co-convener of the COP for Entrepreneurial Universities. Previous experience includes Director of Marketing and Communications at WECBOF, Regional Manager at Absa, and Executive Manager at the South African Medical Research Council. Charleen holds a Master's degree in Social Development from the University of the Western Cape and has completed various prestigious programs, including the Executive Women's Leadership Development Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
