Katharina Scholtz is a seasoned professional in program design and strategic direction, currently serving as the Head of Program Design for East Africa at Allan & Gill Gray Philanthropies since October 2021. In this role, Katharina leads the development of impactful initiatives across Kenya, Rwanda, Ethiopia, and South Africa, including a successful gamified platform that registered over 100,000 learners in 2024. Previous positions include Product Manager and Product Strategist at Hubble Studios, Chief Learning Officer at MasterStart, and various leadership roles at the Red & Yellow Creative School of Business. Katharina co-founded Quirk Education, where product development was directed, and has a diverse educational background with degrees from the University of Cape Town and Vega School focused on media, brand strategy, and coaching.
