Jean Azoury has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the petroleum industry. Jean began their career at Aqua Diving Club as a Scuba Diving Instructor from 1994 to 2000. Following that, they joined Paramount Petroleum Corporation as a Quality Control and Assurance Manager from 2003 to 2006, where they focused on research and development of asphalt and construction products.
Azoury then moved on to Paramount Petroleum Paramount Asphalt, where they held two roles. From 2006 to 2009, they served as the General Manager of Technical Services, Product Development, and Marketing Support, managing the R&D and technical staff of the company's refineries and asphalt terminals. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as the Director of Business Development and Mergers & Acquisitions for the Asphalt Division, responsible for managing the division's operating budget.
In 2011, Azoury joined Paramount Petroleum a Subsidiary of Alon USA as the Vice President of Marketing, Business Development & Planning, overseeing sales and marketing, business development, and market planning for the Asphalt Division.
From 2013 to 2017, Azoury worked at Axeon Specialty Products, holding two senior vice president roles. Jean first served as the Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations, Supply & Trading, and Planning, where they led business optimization strategies and oversaw commercial aspects such as crude oil purchases and product sales. Jean then took on the role of Senior Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions, Supply and Planning, managing joint venture acquisitions and planning activities.
Since 2017, Azoury has been with All States Materials Group, starting as the Vice President of Business Development. In this role, they led the company's expansion strategy and business development efforts. Jean was subsequently promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer before becoming the President in 2023. Jean'sresponsibilities included integration and optimization of business units, supply relationship management, and margin optimization.
Jean Azoury earned a Master of Science degree in Materials Science & Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno, where they studied from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, Azoury completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at The University of Balamand, where they attended from 1997 to 2000. In 1995, Azoury studied Architectural and Engineering at Notre Dame University in Lebanon, but no specific degree information was provided for that period.
