Esam Ahmed is an experienced educator and aspiring computer scientist currently serving as the Lead Instructor at All Star Code since July 2021, where responsibilities include lesson delivery in computer science and leading office hours. Esam has progressed from student to teaching fellow within the organization, guiding students in coding languages such as CSS, JavaScript, and HTML. In addition to instructional roles, Esam is a contracted Cadet in the Army ROTC with a four-year scholarship. Previous experiences include community service and research at the New York State Senate, a student intern position with the NYC Department of Education, and a data-science course at the University of California, Berkeley. Esam also gained practical experience as a Web Design Intern at Audubon Digital Marketing Group and as an intern focused on sustainability with the Rockaway Initiative for Sustainability & Equity. Esam is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Fordham University.
