Eric Fuhrman has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and data architecture. Eric is currently the Director of Software Engineering and Data Architecture at Alkahest, Inc. and has been in this role since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Data Architect at the same company from December 2019 to January 2022.

Before joining Alkahest, Inc., Eric worked as a Data Architect at Ouster from August 2019 to December 2019 and at GoodData from September 2018 to June 2019. Eric also gained experience as a Data Engineer at Genentech from June 2017 to September 2018.

Eric has also worked as an Independent Consultant, serving as a Senior Consultant from April 2010 to December 2017. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Consultant at O2 Works LLC from December 2008 to April 2010.

Earlier in their career, Eric worked as the Managing Principal at DARC Corporation from October 2006 to November 2008 and as the Director at Koala Corporation from 2002 to 2005.

Eric Fuhrman attended the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business from 1982 to 1986, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. In addition to their formal education, they obtained the AWS Certified Solution Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services in March 2020. Eric also completed the course "Cloud Computing Applications, Part 2: Big Data and Applications in the Cloud" on Coursera in July 2019.
