Michael Smith is an accomplished information technology leader with extensive experience in managing infrastructure and technology solutions. Currently serving as the Director of Information Technology at Alivia Care, Inc. since September 2023, Michael previously held multiple senior roles at Availity from July 2009 to July 2023, including Senior Director of Enterprise Infrastructure, responsible for leading a 75-member team in delivering projects and maintaining technology solutions. Prior experience includes positions at Merrill Lynch as VP of Citrix and Alternative Desktop Engineering, where responsibilities encompassed supporting Citrix environments and contributing to global support processes, as well as a tenure at Florida East Coast Industries as Director of Information Systems. Michael began a career in technology as a Systems Administrator at Merrill Lynch and served in the United States Air Force as a Security Specialist.
