Yoichi Nakamura is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Japan CEO and representative director at Algebris Investments, where responsibilities include establishing the Tokyo office, obtaining necessary licenses, and leading business development efforts in Japan since May 2018. Prior to this role, Nakamura worked at Fidelity International as Managing Director for Business Development, focusing on retail, sub-advisory, and institutional clients from April 2014 to April 2018. Earlier experience includes serving as Executive Officer and Head of ITM Business Development at Legg Mason, overseeing new business development, and holding senior roles in product development and client service at SPARX, UBS, and Kokusai Securities. Nakamura holds a Master of Science in International Business and Finance from the University of Reading and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Chinese from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
