Alexandra Runge is currently a PhD candidate at the Alfred Wegener Institute Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research, a position held since November 2017. Prior experience includes working as a junior production engineer at Aerodata International Surveys from August 2015 to June 2017, and as a trainee at UAG Kiel and Helmholtz Center for Environmental Research in 2013 and 2012, respectively, where Alexandra conducted environmental assessments and developed water quality models. Alexandra holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Kiel University and multiple Master of Science degrees in Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation from the University of Southampton, University of Sydney, and Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation of the University of Twente.
