Uvin Seneviratne is a Junior Doctor at Alfred Health since January 2021, concurrently serving as a final year medical student researcher focusing on scoping reviews and interventional trials within the Anaesthetics and Perioperative Medicine department. Uvin has previously conducted a systematic review and observational cohort study as a BMedSci(Hons) Research student. Participation as a speaker occurred at the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine symposium, presenting research on analgesic management and healthcare utilization for patients with pain post-emergency discharge. Uvin's medical training includes a placement under Dr. Benjamin Cunningham, engaging with various specialties, and experience as a summer intern at AIP Foundation, contributing to public health initiatives in Cambodia. Additional roles include medical student research at Eastern Health and serving as a college ball MC. Uvin holds a Bachelor of Medical Sciences and Doctor of Medicine (Hons) from Monash University, completed in 2022.
