Khaled El-Khawas is an experienced intensivist currently serving at Alfred Health and Ballarat Health Services since February 2019 and January 2020, respectively. In addition to clinical responsibilities, Khaled also holds the position of ICU Research Fellow at Alfred Health. Previous experience includes a role as Retrieval Registrar at ARV from August 2012 to February 2014 and as ICU/Emergency Registrar at Queensland Health from September 2007 to August 2012. Education includes a Master of Public Health from Monash University (2019-2021), a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Ultrasound from the University of Melbourne (2014-2015), a Postgraduate Certificate in Aeromedical Retrieval from Monash University (2012-2013), and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Ain Shams University (1997-2004).
