Greg Carrolan is an experienced audio-visual engineer and technical director with a career spanning over three decades in the events and entertainment industry. Currently serving as Associate Principal and Technology AV Engineer at AlfaTech since March 2017, Greg previously held the role of Audio Visual Senior Design Engineer at Netcor Design Systems, INC. from March 2016 to March 2017, focusing on corporate video conference platform designs and control system platforms. Prior to that, Greg spent nearly two decades as Facilities Technical Director at the SAP Center in San Jose, managing technical support staff, event management, and various communication systems. Earlier positions include Technical Services Foreman and Technical Director at Paramount's Great America, where responsibilities encompassed technical requirements for special events, budget management, and system installations. Greg possesses a solid foundation in stage management from positions at Paramount's Kings Island and Paramount Entertainment-Great America. Educational qualifications include studies at San Jose State University and completion of high school at Castro Valley High School.
