Thor Sorensen currently serves as an HR Manager at Ardagh Group since May 2023, after a long tenure at Alfa Laval as an HR Senior Partner since April 2006. At Alfa Laval, Thor has been involved in various HR functions such as building HR systems, implementing Workday, managing internal improvement projects, recruitment, onboarding, legal issues, and negotiating with unions. Additionally, Thor has experience with vendor management for HR services, KPI development, and general HR administration. Prior to these roles, Thor completed an HR trainee position at SKAT in 2004, focusing on HR measurements that saved up to 1 million annually, and served as a konstabel in Forsvaret from 1997 to 1999. Thor holds a Cand. Merc degree in HRM from Copenhagen Business School, obtained between 2004 and 2007.
