Valerie Huyser is an experienced leader in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Regional Director for NF1 at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since September 2015. In this role, Valerie guides the West regional account management team to educate healthcare providers on Neurofibromatosis Type-1 while collaborating with various business units to enhance patient and provider experiences. Previous positions include Associate Director of Sales Operations, Regional Account Manager for U.S. Metabolics, and Clinical Science Associate III at Sanofi Genzyme, as well as roles at The Medicines Company and Novartis where Valerie excelled in account management, strategic development, and sales operations across multiple therapeutic areas. Valerie holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Central College.
