Chad Trexler is an accomplished leader in strategic sourcing and procurement with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as the Global Head of Strategic Sourcing at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Chad manages a team of 60 professionals overseeing over $2.5 billion in addressable spend. Previous roles include Vice President of Global Sourcing & Procurement at Moderna Therapeutics and PAREXEL, where Chad successfully established and optimized sourcing capabilities, significantly increasing savings. Chad also led sourcing transformations at Accellent and played a key role in setting up the procurement function at SunGard Availability Services. Educational credentials include an MBA in Finance and Management from The Wharton School and a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations from Dartmouth College.
