Derek Watson has extensive experience in asset services within the real estate industry, currently serving as Director of Asset Services at Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc. since April 2018, after progressing through roles including Senior Asset Services Coordinator and Asset Services Coordinator. Prior to this, Derek worked as a Realtor with The Watson Group LLC at RE/MAX from August 2014 to April 2018. Early career experience includes a position as a Student Assistant/Compliance Intern on the IRB Committee at Towson University from June 2011 to July 2014. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in E-Business from Towson University, completed in 2014, and a high school diploma from Richard Montgomery High School, earned in 2010.
