Joel Cranmer is a Lab Control Systems Engineer at Aleut Federal since July 2021, specializing in designing, fabricating, and validating control and data acquisition systems for various experimental projects. Previously, Joel worked as an M/S Integrator at MEI Technologies, Inc., supporting missile defense exercises and integrating MDA simulations. Joel has experience as an Emulation Engineer and Senior Controls Engineer at Kasa Controls & Automation, focusing on industrial automation and realistic virtual testing environments. An engineering internship at GE Aviation involved testing Flight Management System software, while earlier experience as a Senior Web Application Developer at Kansas State University involved developing secure web applications. Joel holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University, completed in 2013.
