Akshay Shah, P.Eng, has extensive engineering experience, currently serving as a Stations & DER Engineer at Alectra since October 2018. Previously, Akshay held roles at Quad Infotech Inc. as a Business Analyst, contributing to the implementation and maintenance of the QMOS in the steel manufacturing industry, and assisted in generating customer reports using SQL queries. Earlier experience at Alectra as an Electrical Engineering Intern involved monitoring the reliability of Mississauga's distribution system and generating technical reliability reports, while also managing solar panel project installations as a Project Analyst. Akshay holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering, a Sustainable Energy Minor, and an Engineering Business Minor from the University of Toronto, complemented by a high school diploma from George Harvey Collegiate Institute.
