Jose Angel Olachea is a skilled professional with extensive experience in supply chain management and logistics. Currently serving as a Global Supply Chain Planner at Alcon since August 2022, Jose is responsible for the inventory management and replenishment processes worldwide and oversees production requirements and order releases. As the owner of EcoplastMx since January 2019, Jose defines and implements plastic recycling culture initiatives and sets short- and long-term goals. Previous roles include Supply Chain Planner and Logistics at AbbVie and Supply Manager for LATAM at GSK, where responsibilities included end-to-end supply chain management and supplier control. Jose holds a Master of Science in Business Administration (Management and Operations) from Instituto Politécnico Nacional and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Chemist Biology from Universidad del Valle de México, complemented by a diploma in Business Administration.
