Claus Schmidt is an experienced professional in the fields of corporate venture capital and innovation strategy. Currently serving as an External Advisor at STIHL Ventures since February 2021 and as President of CS Inno Consultants since June 2015, Claus Schmidt provides support for the establishment and operation of startup companies, as well as for the development of innovation strategies. Claus Schmidt has held advisory roles at FLUXUNIT - OSRAM Ventures and Alcan, and was a board member at CERIX - Robert Bosch Start-up GmbH. Additionally, Claus Schmidt was the founder and moderator of the CVC Forum Stuttgart and played a key role in founding Robert Bosch Venture Capital GmbH, where leadership included managerial and engineering responsibilities. Claus Schmidt’s academic background includes a Dr. rer. nat. in Physics from the University of Stuttgart.
