Sara Lucía Colmenares Trejos is a professional biologist and educator with extensive experience in biodiversity monitoring, ecological evaluation, and nature tourism. Currently serving as a biologist at Alcaldía de Bogotá - SDA and an executive assistant at Sonidos Invisibles, Sara also engages in academia as a professor of Plant Physiology and Botany of Lower Plants at Universidad Central. Prior roles include ecological consulting and data analysis at Alcaldía de Bogotá, and expertise in nature tourism with Asociación Rio Cali and PELECANUS SAS. Sara holds a PhD in Biological Sciences with a focus on Ecology from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, an MS in Ecology, and a Specialist degree in Nature Tourism Management from Universidad Externado de Colombia.
