Abhay Pande

Senior Advisor at Albright Stonebridge Group

Abhay Pande is a Senior Advisor at ASG, where he draws on more than 25 years experience in mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, and private equity and debt investing to advise clients on investment strategy and international transactions.

Mr. Pande is currently a partner at Linnean Capital Management, an investment firm based in New Jersey. He is also a partner and member of the investment committee at Ironmont Partners Ltd., a Singapore-based investment firm focused on renewable energy investments in Southeast Asia, and on the Board of Commissioners of PT Arkora Hydro, an Indonesian renewable power company. Previously, Mr. Pande was Managing Director at American Capital Energy & Infrastructure (ACEI), a private equity group within American Capital Ltd. While there, he established the firm’s activities in Asia, and was a member of the firm’s energy and infrastructure investment committee.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Pande spent more than 15 years at Citigroup’s investment banking department (formerly Salomon Smith Barney) where he held numerous positions, including Managing Director in the North America Energy Group, co-head of Asian Energy, Power and Chemicals Banking, and Head of Southeast Asia Industrials. While at Salomon Smith Barney and Citigroup, he oversaw, originated, led, or executed several hundred transactions, including over $35 billion of senior loans, bond and equity transactions and over $30 billion in mergers and acquisition transactions.

Prior to joining Salomon Smith Barney in 1998, Mr. Pande was a Principal at A.T. Kearney Inc., where he worked on corporate strategy and mergers and acquisition engagements in the transportation, health care, infrastructure, and automotive industries.

Mr. Pande is on the National Board of the I Have A Dream Foundation, a national nonprofit providing educational support to disadvantaged children at the primary and secondary school level.

Mr. Pande earned an MBA with high honors in finance and strategy from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago, where he was a Wallman Scholar, and a B.A. in quantitative economics from Dartmouth College.

He is based in New Jersey.
