Adriaan Joubert is an experienced technology executive with a strong background in software development and system architecture. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Albourne Partners since January 1997, Adriaan has architected and implemented the company's IT infrastructure for global investors in alternatives. As the Founder and CTO of K2 Defender from 2000 to 2003, Adriaan developed a distributed network security monitoring system using Tandem databases. Earlier experience includes leading research and software development at the London Parallel Applications Centre, focusing on financial modeling and parallel computing, and conducting research on parallel algorithms at Philips Benelux. Adriaan holds a PhD in Computational Mathematics from Queen Mary University of London, a Master of Engineering in Applied Mathematics from the University of Twente, and an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences.
