Tuomas Marttila has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Tuomas is currently serving as the Head of Finance & Internal Operations at Albertine since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at ETM Investments as an M&A and Strategy Advisor, CEO, providing tailored consulting and interim engagements in strategy, M&A, and performance improvement.

Tuomas also served as the Vice President of Business Development at Tilgmann Group from April 2017 to March 2020. During this time, they were responsible for M&A and portfolio operations in the Nordic & Baltic food packaging industry, including fund level financing, control, and reporting.

Before joining Tilgmann Group, Tuomas held the position of Vice President, Head of Strategy at Basware from January 2015 to March 2017. Tuomas played a key role in developing and implementing strategic initiatives.

Starting their career at Bain & Company in 2009, Tuomas worked as a Senior Manager. Tuomas gained experience in business unit and corporate strategy, performance improvement, operational excellence, and M&A across various industries such as industrial goods & services, upstream oil & gas, utilities, renewable energy, and media.

Tuomas pursued an MBA at IMD Business School in 2008 and worked as an MBA Candidate during that time. Before that, they served as a Sr. Sales Consultant at SAP Business Objects from January 2006 to December 2007.

Tuomas Marttila began their career at Fazer in 2002, where they held various roles. Tuomas worked as a Development Manager in Finance from August 2004 to January 2006 and also held different roles in Fazer Food Services, including Controller, Information Systems Manager, and Internal Audit, from March 2002 to July 2004.

Tuomas Marttila attended IMD in 2008, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Prior to this, they studied at Aalto University, where they obtained a degree in Management Science, Mathematics & Statistics. The specific years of attendance at Aalto University are not provided.
