Harleen K. is an Engineer In Training at AESO, specializing in Grid Reliability Operations since October 2021. Previously, Harleen worked as a Protection & Controls Engineer (EIT) at Wood and gained experience in T&D System Operations during a co-op placement at BC Hydro, where responsibilities included creating energizing checklists for safe equipment operation. Prior co-op experiences included an Electrical Engineer role at Advisian, focusing on emergency shutdown control panel schematics for an oil and gas terminal, and a Protection Engineer position at Hydro One, contributing to the development of standards related to protection equipment. Harleen holds a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of British Columbia, completed in 2021.
