Libby Day serves as the IB Diploma Programme Coordinator and Social Studies Teacher at Homewood-Flossmoor High School since July 2018, where responsibilities include teaching AP US Government and Politics, overseeing a Professional Learning Community, and coaching the Mock Trial team. In addition, Libby operates as a Content Writer and Technology Coach with Albert | Learn By Doing, contributing over 500 assessment questions and aligning curriculum for AP courses. As an AP Exam Reader for The College Board, scoring student responses for the AP US Government & Politics exam has also been a recent role. Prior experience includes teaching at Acero Schools, where Libby designed US History curriculum, and serving as Academy Director and Teacher at Hoover City Schools, focusing on career-focused educational programs and technology integration. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Education with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelor's Degree in History/Philosophy and Religious Studies from the University of Montevallo.
