Syd Shoaf is a seasoned professional in urban planning and transportation, currently serving as a Senior Planner for Albemarle County since August 2022. Prior experience includes roles as an Assistant Planner at Lane Council of Governments and Oregon Cascades West Council of Governments, where transportation planning projects were implemented for various government entities. Experience also encompasses coordinating the Safe Routes to School program for Bethel School District #52 and contributing to community engagement initiatives with Better Housing Together and University of Oregon LiveMove. Syd Shoaf holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Planning, Public Policy & Management from the University of Oregon.
