Stacy Pethia, Ph.D., currently serves as the Assistant Director of Housing and Housing Policy Manager for Albemarle County since December 2018, where responsibilities include developing and implementing housing programs aimed at enhancing affordable and workforce housing options. Previous roles include Housing Program Coordinator for the City of Charlottesville, managing the Charlottesville Affordable Housing Fund, and Landlord Outreach Coordinator for the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh, overseeing relationships with landlords participating in the Housing Choice Voucher program. Additionally, experience includes consulting roles focused on affordable housing and community service as an Outreach Coordinator for Rebuilding Together Pittsburgh. Stacy Pethia holds a Ph.D. in Urban Regeneration Policy and has a strong academic background with multiple degrees in urban studies and sociology from the University of Birmingham, Georgia State University, and the University of Pittsburgh.
