Kristy Shifflett has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Kristy has worked at Albemarle County since 2014, starting as a Budget & Special Programs Analyst and then transitioning to roles such as Senior Project Manager for Strategic Planning and Interim Deputy Chief Financial Officer. Kristy has also served as the Director of the Project Management Office and Director of Performance & Strategic Planning. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Operating Officer at Albemarle County. Prior to their work at Albemarle County, they worked as a Business Auditor at the company from 2012 to 2013. Additionally, they have experience at Deloitte Consulting, where they worked as a Consultant and Senior Consultant between 2002 and 2010.
