David Simms is an accomplished author and educator with extensive experience in psychology and English instruction. Currently serving as an Author at Crossroads Press and Fire & Ice Publishing, David has contributed significantly to literature, including a novel entitled Dark Muse. As a Psychology and English Instructor at Rockbridge County Public Schools, David teaches high school and college-level courses, while also leading staff workshops focused on music therapy and stress reduction. In addition to these roles, David serves as the Special Education Chair at Augusta County Public Schools, overseeing department operations and developing IEPs and behavior plans. David's background also includes work as an IIH/EI/MHS Therapist at Crossroads Counseling Associates and a previous position as a Special Education/Literature Teacher at William Paterson University. David holds a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology from Kean University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from William Paterson University of New Jersey.
