Jeala Barnett-Gentry currently serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at Morehouse School of Medicine since August 2023 and has been a Psychiatrist at Albany Area Primary Health Care (AAPHC) since October 2021. Prior to these roles, Jeala Barnett-Gentry completed residency training as a Resident Physician in Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at Morehouse School of Medicine from July 2017 to June 2021. Educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine (2013 - 2017), a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology from The University of Alabama (2002 - 2007).
