Chad A. Carino has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Chad A. most recently worked at Albanero as a Senior Director, starting in May 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Unilever from 2015 to 2019, where they served as a Senior Software Development Manager. In this role, they managed cross-discipline teams for post-acquisition integration and oversaw transitions between cloud environments, platforms, and processes.
Before joining Unilever, Chad worked at Sundial Brands from 2015 to 2019 as a Web Application Developer. Here, they were responsible for coding strategy and managing development teams for principal sites and associated microsites. Chad A. also implemented best practices and standardized development and deployment platforms.
Earlier in their career, Chad worked at Tekserve, starting in 2010. Chad A. held various roles including Web Manager, Web Store Manager, and Customer Support. As Web Manager, they developed a web strategy and managed development tasks and content management. As Web Store Manager, they led an ecommerce development team and trained internal staff on management and content creation. In their role as Customer Support, they increased liquidation turnover and returns significantly and managed ecommerce product info and sales reporting.
Chad's work experience also includes a role at Southern Connecticut State University as an Administrator of the Technology Loan Program. Here, they developed policies and procedures for a grant-based program and designed a client/asset management database. Chad A. provided technical support and training to lessees and successfully ran the program in collaboration with the state Department of Social Services and their assistant.
Chad A. Carino began their education in 1999 at Stonehill College, where they studied Computer Engineering. Chad A. attended Stonehill College until 2000. In 2002, they enrolled at Middlesex Community College to pursue Fine and Studio Arts, but did not obtain a degree. From 2008 to 2010, Chad attended Southern Connecticut State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Fine and Studio Arts. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Fine Arts in Painting at the Savannah College of Art and Design from 2011 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Chad obtained an ITIL Foundation Level certification in January 2018 from PeopleCert.
