Scott Hosking

Co-director Natural Environment, Turing Research And Innovation Cluster In Digital Twins at The Alan Turing Institute

Scott Hosking is an accomplished professional in the field of environmental science and artificial intelligence, currently serving as Co-Director of the Natural Environment at The Alan Turing Institute and holding the position of Programme Director (Interim) and Scoping Lead for Environment and Sustainability. Previously, Scott worked as Science Team Leader of Environmental AI and Digital Twins at the British Antarctic Survey, where Scott also founded and led the BAS AI Lab. In addition to these roles, Scott has contributed to various initiatives with NERC and the University of Cambridge, including being a member of the Digital Research and Infrastructure Group and a board member at the Cambridge Centre for Climate Science. With a PhD in Climate Science from the University of Cambridge and an MChem (Hons) in Chemistry from Bangor University, Scott's expertise encompasses digital environments and AI’s application in environmental research.
