Joshua Fortes, P.Eng, serves as a Senior Mine Engineer at Alamos Gold Inc. since July 2021, previously holding the role of Mine Project Engineer-in-Training at CGC Inc. from July 2018 to July 2021, where responsibilities included managing a capital project portfolio valued at approximately $20M and overseeing the management of an extensive mine dewatering system. Earlier engineering experience includes a co-op position at Kirkland Lake Gold, where tasks involved conducting ventilation readings and maintaining survey control, along with a role as a Youth Delegate for Ontario at the Energy and Mines Ministers Conference. Joshua's career commenced as an Underground Trammer at Kirkland Lake Gold Inc., focusing on ore transportation and track maintenance. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining Engineering from Laurentian University, completed in 2018.
