Vera Hannush is a seasoned philanthropy professional currently serving as the Director of Philanthropy at Alameda Health System Foundation since April 2023, where responsibilities include developing major donor pipelines and overseeing grant proposals. Previously, Vera held the position of Associate Director of Development at the same foundation, focusing on individual giving. From April 2020 to April 2023, Vera worked as the Bay Area Development Officer at Covenant House California, spearheading fundraising initiatives to assist homeless youth. Prior to that role, Vera was the Director of Grants at Taube Philanthropies for nearly nine years, managing grantmaking operations and fostering donor relations. Vera holds a Master's degree in Classics and Classical Languages from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts in Latin and German from Wellesley College.
