Nichalous Archibald

Nichalous Archibald is a seasoned educational leader with extensive experience in school counseling and program development. Currently serving as Program Director for the Counselor Residency Program at the Alameda County Office of Education, Nichalous oversees initiatives to prepare future school counselors, cultivates partnerships with local districts and institutions, and leads recruitment efforts. Previously, as Vice President of Business Development at Innovate Public Schools, Nichalous played a key role in executing a comprehensive strategic plan, while earlier tenure as High School Principal at June Jordan School for Equity involved staff development and strategic planning for a team of over 40. Nichalous's early career included impactful roles as a school counselor at Heritage High School and Bronx Leadership Academy II, advocating for underrepresented students and providing comprehensive counseling support. Nichalous holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Africana Studies from Binghamton University, a Master's degree in Counselor Education from Hunter College, and an Administrative Services Credential from California State University - East Bay.
