Dr. La Toshia Denise Palmer, Ed.D., LCSW, currently serves as Director II and Principal at Alameda County Office of Education since August 2024, and has a diverse background in educational and social work settings. Palmer's experience includes roles such as Psychiatric Social Worker II-Per Diem with the Monterey County Health Department, Coordinator III of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion with Pleasanton Unified School District, and Principal positions within Vallejo City Unified School District, including Dan Mini Elementary School. With extensive expertise in mental health, social services, and educational leadership, Palmer has been pivotal in implementing support services for students with disabilities and mental health needs.
