Tonya Jones, M.Ed, is currently the Director of PreK for the Alamance-Burlington School System and serves on the Virginia Museum of Natural History Foundation Board. Previously, they were recognized as the Assistant Principal of the Year at Rockingham County Schools, where they worked from 2012 to 2023. Tonya has also held teaching positions in middle and high schools and served as a Martinsville City School Board Member from 2017 to 2020. They earned a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University and a Master’s degree in School Administration Leadership from the University of Phoenix. Additionally, Tonya operates as a travel agent with TJ Travels.
