Pat Mantell serves as the IT Operations Manager at the Alabama State Department of Education since September 2015, overseeing multiple teams that deliver IT services to a large number of educators and department employees. Prior to this role, Pat Mantell dedicated 25 years to the United States Air Force, achieving significant leadership positions, including Superintendent of the 377th Mission Support Group and roles in various NATO and DoD organizations across Europe. Pat Mantell has managed extensive teams and complex budgetary responsibilities while ensuring comprehensive support for military operations and communications. Pat Mantell holds a BS in Computer Information Science from Troy University and an Associate's Degree in Information Systems Management from the Community College of the Air Force.
