Shanna Trim is an experienced professional in sign language interpretation, currently serving as a Staff Interpreter at the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind since June 2023. In this role, Shanna provides interpreting services, sign language instruction, and community education workshops for Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing individuals across various settings. Prior to this position, Shanna worked as a Sign Language Interpreter for the Mobile County Public School System from August 2018 to June 2023, facilitating communication access for students in diverse educational environments. Additional experience includes freelance interpreting with LBP Interpreting, LLC from May 2016 to June 2023, and serving as a Sign Language Interpreter III at Escambia County Schools from July 2017 to August 2018.
