Fred Cochran holds a BSCJA and possesses certifications including IAAI-FIT and NAFI-CFEI. Currently serving as a Special Agent and Deputy State Fire Marshal at the Alabama Department of Insurance since April 2016, Fred also contributes as an Adjunct Instructor at the Alabama Fire College and Personnel Standards & Education Commission since February 2022. Previous roles include Investigator at the Blount County Sheriff's Office from September 2010 to March 2016, ALERRT Active Shooter Instructor with Alabama DHS from October 2010 to October 2014, and positions within the Cleveland Police Department and Etowah County Sheriff's Office. Fred completed a degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Columbia Southern University in 2018 and graduated from West End High School.
