Tobin George is a highly experienced professional in materials management and procurement, currently serving as the Manager of Materials Management at Al Seef Hospital since June 2010. In this role, Tobin was instrumental in the procurement and commissioning of medical equipment for the New International Hospital Project, completing the task ahead of schedule and under budget. Previously, as a Procurement Manager, Tobin managed annual procurement worth 10 million Kuwaiti Dinars and successfully negotiated prices through a subscription with ECRI (USA). Experience prior to Al Seef Hospital includes serving as Purchasing Supervisor at International Gulf Medical Center and Buyer at Kmed Co., where responsibilities encompassed tender preparation and supply chain management for various medical equipment. Tobin holds an Advanced Program in Supply Chain Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and several professional certifications including MCIPS, CMRP, SCMP, CPSM, and C.P.M. Additionally, educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
