Ahmed Mamdouh Fahmy has a diverse and extensive work experience. Ahmed is currently the Group Head of Business Excellence & Transformation at Al Muhaidib Group since June 2021. Prior to this, Ahmed worked at Four Principles, where they held multiple roles, including Principal from January 2020 to May 2021, Senior Manager in 2019, Project Manager in 2018, and Associate from March 2016 to December 2017.

Before joining Four Principles, Ahmed served as the Factory General Manager at EGMA from March 2015 to February 2016. In this role, they were responsible for various key areas such as production, logistics, customer service, continuous improvement, and maintenance. Ahmed played a pivotal role in implementing several initiatives to improve quality, reduce lead time, increase productivity, and optimize processes.

Prior to EGMA, Ahmed worked at Mars as a Value Stream Leader from March 2014 to February 2015 and as a Senior Industrial Engineer/Regional Lean Coach from July 2011 to June 2014. Ahmed also gained experience as a Process Improvement Engineer/Lean Six Sigma Champion at Trane from July 2008 to July 2011.

Throughout their career, Ahmed has demonstrated expertise in areas such as business excellence, transformation, continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and project management. Their accomplishments include designing human capital programs, implementing continuous improvement cultures, reducing internal breakages and non-quality scrap, improving lead time, optimizing scheduling, implementing KPIs, redesigning processes, and developing cost models.

Ahmed Mamdouh Fahmy's education history begins with their high school education at BBC British International School from 1990 to 2003, where they obtained a General Certification for Secondary Education. After completing high school, Ahmed attended The German University in Cairo from 2003 to 2008, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering & Materials Science, with a major in Mechanics. In 2023, Ahmed pursued further education at The German University in Cairo, obtaining a Master's degree in Strategy Lean Deployment.

In addition to their formal education, Ahmed obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2006, they completed the "Introduction to CNC Machines" course at DECKEL MAHO Pfronten GmbH. In 2008, they obtained a certification in SolidWorks from SolidWorks-CADCAMCIM Inc. In 2010, Ahmed became a certified Lean Six Sigma Champion through Ingersoll Rand. Ahmed further enhanced their project management skills in 2011 by earning a certification as a Project Management Professional from AmCham Egypt. From 2012 to 2013, Ahmed completed several programs related to productivity and time management, including "The 5 Choices to Extraordinary Productivity," "Time Management for MS Outlook," and "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People Signature Program." In 2014, they obtained a Green Level Lean/Kaizen Team Leader certification from Cardiff University. Most recently, in 2019, Ahmed completed the Balanced Scorecard Professional (BSP) program from both The George Washington University - College of Professional Studies and Balanced Scorecard Institute.
