Abdul Gafoor is an experienced banking professional with a strong background in transaction banking, currently serving as the Head of Transaction Banking at Al Masraf since May 2015, where responsibilities include strategy development and enhancing profitability. Prior to this role, Abdul held the position of Senior Product Manager in Transaction Banking at Commercial Bank of Dubai from December 2007 to April 2015, focusing on product establishment and e-channel strategies. Earlier experience includes a tenure at Standard Chartered Bank between January 2000 and December 2007, where Abdul managed the implementation of wholesale banking applications and contributed to the development of payment processing solutions. Educational qualifications consist of an MBA in Finance from SPJIMR SP Jain Institute of Management & Research, an MCA from Bharathidasan University, a PGDCA from College of Applied Science (IHRD), and a B.Com in Accounting & Banking from Calicut University.
